I really like it in black and white. Funny how that changes your emotions. I think it makes you look at the flower differently, instead of your eye seeing color, it starts off with shadow and texture. Hum. Do I know what I am talking about?

I am surprised by how many of our roses are in bloom; in fact several of the shrub roses have had a new burst of energy... they seem a bit confused. Love your pumpkin shot! pies to come.

I love color! Ask anyone. But a rose is so spectacular in structure that it doesn't need any color. It is beautiful.
