I really like seeing trains. It must be because they're so big when all the cars are hooked up. And I like the Johnny Cash quote. He does a few really good train songs.
That's a loooooong train. It reminds of the song by "Doobie Brothers". "Ooooh where would you be now?"
BTW yes please Judy, send me and Dad will make a model of it. We like the color of the plane, he hasn't done a red and white plane. I posted my e mail in my profile. Thanks again.
Fantastic shot, Judy. The cars on the train look just like prison bars. And after I read your words the Johnny Cash tune kept playing in my head :) Have a nice day, Judy
I just watched "Walk the Line" again the other night and enjoyed it very much. So when I saw the quote I heard the music and now it's reverberating around the old cranium. Thanks for that, Judy.
Great perspective, I was the only little girl who asked for an electric train and ice skates every Christmas. I got the ice skates when I was 14, never got the electric train till I "got" my husband one. I didn't know till I grew up my great grandpa was a railroad man.

Grew up in a small Georgia town with a desire to see some of the places I had read about and many I had not. I moved to Alaska and lived there for about ten years. My jobs took me to many parts of the state including Barrow, Nome, Kodiak Island and many more. I have also lived in California, Oregon and now Washington state.
Let this be the story of the journey so far.

Wonderful shot...and I love the photos in the second post down. They are wonderful.
Beautiful Monochrome picture, Judy.... I love trains --since I grew up with a father who worked for the railroad.
Hugs,
Betsy
That train appears to have no beginning and no end, just a constant travel. Love the depth.

Neat picture. The train looks like it's in the middle of no where.

Love the B/W photo - great perspective shot - the monochrome really shows the details in the photo.
BTW, just had to sing along with Johnny!
