A Visit to the Farmers's Market

Our Farmers' Market always has a wide variety of produce. Lots of locally grown fruits and vegetables everywhere.

Even a giant sunflower.

Fresh corn and squash.

And more squash of all kinds.

The lady told me these were banana squash.

The pumpkins have arrived.

Did you think I would do a post without including a few flowers?

I've never heard of banana squash before. I wonder how they taste? I'm glad you identified the sun flower! I was like - what the heck is that? And then I say your caption. Oh, yeah! :) I enjoyed your photos taken on that nice sunny day. It's been dreary here all week.

Those squashes look great! I was very sad we didn't have any pumpkins yet... I've seen them at the supermarket, but not at the farmer's market. :( Maybe in October...

I don't know why we don't plant radishes. I love them, and they're so easy to grow. They look yummy in your photo. Next year, we're adding leaf lettuce & cabbage.

Someday, our garden will have a bigger variety.

Dear, dear, Judy, you might laugh at this but, when I clicked the blog I gave you, it pulled up my site. I did not know those are clickable. I thought those are just displays. I am MOST grateful, Judy! Thank you for the link! *hugs*

Even though it is difficult in my area, you are inspiring me to search out a farmer's market.
