Flowers always make people better, happier, and more helpful; they are sunshine, food and medicine for the soul.

I ran across this flower at the park today. I have no idea what it is but I researching to find out, if anyone knows what it is I would appreciate it. I can tell you the bees thought it was very tasty.
Wow lavender! Judy, the quote is so true, in fact it helped me ease my sadness over the kitty. Your comment on my Cats on Tuesdays made me cry, thank you for your comforting comments.
HI Judy, I wondered if this was somehow related to lupine, but I don't think so. I found this on line, but once I started looking, I realized you could probably do a better job. You'll find it in there, I'll bet! Great pictures, love the bee!
I seem to be having a problem making my comment stick. Anyway, I did say I thought the separation of the background and the flower itself so enhances the subject - I am wondering technically how that is done - that the post is indeed medicine for the soul. Though I am sure your skill has much to do with it as well. Just lovely!

Grew up in a small Georgia town with a desire to see some of the places I had read about and many I had not. I moved to Alaska and lived there for about ten years. My jobs took me to many parts of the state including Barrow, Nome, Kodiak Island and many more. I have also lived in California, Oregon and now Washington state.
Let this be the story of the journey so far.
