A Thought for Your Day

The trouble with so many of us is that we underestimate the power of simplicity. We have a tendency it seems to over complicate our lives and forget what's important and what's not.

We tend to mistake movement for achievement. We tend to focus on activities instead of results. And as the pace of life continues to race along in the outside world, we forget that we have the power to control our lives regardless of what's going on outside.

my hubby and i are the quest to simplfy our lives for several years...we moved to the country from a mcmansion in the city. we are homeschooling our children...make regular visits to our local farmer's market and basically have changed our whole lifestyle over the past two and half years. we are gardening and growing our own food. anyway it is in the simple things that you feel complete and fullfilled.
i am posting on our new small farmer's market tomorrow...it is in the beginning stages and so quaint. thanks for coming to "thing i love."
happy september.

yes, true. Life is a process, and we (obviously) aren't done yet.
