The Kids' Garden Club Part II

Yesterday I introduced you to the Kids' Garden Club of Dixie, Washington. If you missed that post you can read it HERE. Today I would like to show you a few more of the items these young entrepreneurs had for sale.

Just look at the greeting cards hand drawn and colored by two of the kids.

These are lilac potpourri bags and mice.

Remember all these items were made by the children.

One of the young men raises chickens and sells the eggs here at the market.

There were even flowers. One of the boys had herbs for sale but I forgot to get a photo.

And of course lots of very fresh vegetables. Aren't the lemon cucumbers pretty?

Would you like to buy a bell pepper? I grew it myself.

This is Lynae, she is five years old. She did most of the greeting cards you saw above.
I was a little early and interrupted the after school snack time and her mother almost fainted when she saw Lynae's face. Too late, I had already tripped the shutter.

I am taking part in this week's Change the World Wednesday. Be sure to take a look at this week's Challenge.

That's a great club. And kids enter into the spirit of things like adults never could.

I love the cards, and that little dolly is adorable. The little girl is so cute, and her dirty face just makes her look more endearing.

That is just too cool, Judy... When kids learn things like this so young, it will stick with them throughout life... We need more of these Children's Markets offered throughout the country. I loved seeing it. That little gal with the bell pepper is precious.

Hugs,
Betsy
