The Fall of Summer, The Rise of Autumn

By all these lovely tokens
September days are here,
With summer’s best of weather
And autumn’s best of cheer.

Gorgeous photos and a lovely little poem. Funny imagining that your summer is ending while spring has just started on this side of the pond :)

Wow! So that's how sunflowers looks like during autumn, are they going to wither?

As the days shorten, taking us into fall, the air seems to get fresher, colors change from summer's riot of color into shades of red and orange. I love the fall, it's my favorite time of the year.

I love the look of fall but I feel sad when the season changes. I hate to lose the warm days for a cold winter ahead.

Wonderful pictures as always! Although Fall is my favorite season, I am sad to see summer go.

I can feel fall in the air. The morning air is heavy, but the sun burns off the fog during the day. The evenings cool off fast. Some of the trees are turning already.

Nice photos

We are starting to get Fall like weather here in MS. Which is weird, cause usually Sept. is very hot.
