Awards Time Part II

Al at Caramel Macchiato has presented me with the Silver Shoe of Sincerity Award. According to Al, the award is given in recognition for sincere and positive blog interaction. Al, thank you for honoring my blog with this beautiful award. The best part of the award is that there are no rules. I may or may not choose to pass it to someone. I am not going to pass any of these on today but I will be doing so in the near future.

Al has also presented me with the Kreative Blogger Award. This award is given to bloggers who display creativity in their blog posts and inspire others to do the same.

Ten honest things about me:
1) I love nature and the great outdoors.

2) Cats, I have almost always had a kitty sidekick. Salem, Tasha, and now Miss Cindi Lou Who!

3) My food weakness is ice cream, any flavor. In the middle of winter in Anchorage (think 20 below) my friends and I would sometimes go to the nearest ice cream parlor for a late night snack. I read somewhere that Alaska is at or near the top of the list for ice cream consumption per capita.

4) I am one of those women who would rather get tech or tool gifts than a diamond. Shop for me at Home Depot. If I want something sparkly I will pick it out myself. I'm a first born, when my dad did not get a son he thought "tom boy". That's me!

5) I like Brussels Sprouts! I may be one of the few people in the world who do but I like them.

6) Speaking of veggies. I can grow almost any flower and it will thrive. If I plant a vegetable it will be dead within a week. I don't know why but that's the way it is. But I just keep trying.

7) I Love Rock and Roll! Put another dime in the jukebox baby!

8) Movies, I don't care for most romantic comedies or drama. I love action, horror and scifi. Give me space cowboys and monsters.

9) In the dead of winter I love video games. First person shooter (FPS) games are my favorites. I installed a mega video card on my computer so I could get better graphics. Latest passion is F.E.A.R.

10) Photography. Been playing around with it for years. I started out with a Pentax SLR (yep, film).
