A Thought for Today. . . . . and Everyday

When one door of happiness closes, another opens;
but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us.

The rose is magnificent; the quote is so true. I honestly do not know how you find such marvelous quotes but you do. And guess what, I do not want to know but am delighted to have the pleasure of seeing which one you choose for the day. :D

I always find it interesting when Helen Keller is quoted talking about looking at something. To have been born deaf and blind and to become who she was never fails to inspire me. The rose is also very beautiful and fragrant.

The rose is gorgeous; looks like it is lit from within. I am going to send the quote to a friend of mine who could use a lift. Thanks for that.

Very true for some people. I've never understood that part of human nature. I focus on now and tomorrow.

That quote is so very true and many people spoil their lives by hanging on to negatives in their past. I love the rose

Ha! I always look for an open window to climb through. Maybe that's where I'm wrong, caue I look for the wrong thing! Thanks Judy. For the thought and for that beautifull rose.

That is so true Judy, as well as the rose on the photo, it looks like a flower icing to me and I like to take a bite...just a bit.

I read your comment on Shiny Things...and I thought you were very busy then. I am looking forward for your shiny thing soon!

You always have such good quotes here. I think I'm a person who is too often guilty of watching that closed door too long.
