When I got home from Macedonia in late April, that familiar pillow was so nice to say hello to! And it held my head while I wrestled with jet lag for a whole week! Welcome home, dear friend.

Coming home after a trip is one of the greatest feelings. The welcome familiar place is back, and the wonderful thoughts and feelings of the trip are still in effect. You get the best of both worlds for a short time.

Grew up in a small Georgia town with a desire to see some of the places I had read about and many I had not. I moved to Alaska and lived there for about ten years. My jobs took me to many parts of the state including Barrow, Nome, Kodiak Island and many more. I have also lived in California, Oregon and now Washington state.
Let this be the story of the journey so far.

Welcome back my friend. I have missed you a lot. I have missed the inspirational quotes, the flowers, the butterflies, the bees, and of course, you.

I do love to travel, but there is something so wonderful about sleeping in one's own bed with one's own pillow!
