The photos is pretty and the words are lovely. Your quote reflects the exact sentiment from my blog post today. Thank you and thank you so very much for the extra kind words you wrote in my comments. You are a remarkable individual Judy and I so glad to call you a friend.

Just home from hiking, all day long in the rain. We had so many flowers, all covered with rain, as were we. And I think to myself, I was covered with rain on the outside, but I was filled with red on the inside, just like this beautiful flower...

Grew up in a small Georgia town with a desire to see some of the places I had read about and many I had not. I moved to Alaska and lived there for about ten years. My jobs took me to many parts of the state including Barrow, Nome, Kodiak Island and many more. I have also lived in California, Oregon and now Washington state.
Let this be the story of the journey so far.

Spot on again! Amazing what a change of attitude can do.
What a wonderful thought for today! The flower is also reaching for the sky! Beautiful

So true, but those bad feelings are such fun sometimes? Seriously that is a quote we could all do well to remember.
Nice thought, Judy... and thanks for making me stop and smell the flowers too :D
Very nice!! Love the daisy, and I adore most of Mr. Franklin's wise (and sometimes witty) quotes!
That pic is stunning! Very true words...
Here's another:
