The Farmers' Market Challenge is this Saturday, the 25TH.
I want to remind you about the Farmers' Market Challenge. This is for everyone. If you have a Farmers' Market in your area we would like to see your photos. If you don't have a farmers' market how about a roadside produce stand? Or maybe you grow your own vegetables? Do you raise chickens or geese, do you use the eggs? We want to see your photos.
The purpose of this challenge is to raise awareness for purchasing locally produced foods. Be it fruits, vegetables, dairy products or related items we want to know what's available where you live.
How will this work? All you have to do is post photos and/or a story on your blog on or before Saturday, July 25th. When you have it posted come back to my blog and add your link.
We will be using Mr. Linky to sign up, if you haven't used it before it is very simple and easy to do. I will post Mr. Linky on Friday the 24th. If anyone has problems with the sign-in my email address is on my profile.
No matter how big, no matter how small we want to see your photos. Plan your post now and spread the word, let's see if we can make this a worldwide event.

oh I am SO going to do this! Our farmers market is right up the road and its nice this year.

Great idea.
I keep planning to bring my camera with me and then ... Saturday comes and I'm out the door without it. I do remember my reusable bags, however. lol
I'll keep trying ... we have wonderful farmers markets and tailgate markets in our area.
By the way (and forgive me if I'm repeating myself ... it's been a long day ... lol), there's a contest going on for the best farmer's market. The winner gets a bit of money which most farmer's markets could use. Here's the link to vote for your favorite:

What a fun idea! I think I'll do this... I have some veggies and herbs in my backyard, so maybe I'll take a pretty picture of them. :) By the way, congrats on winning Thumbnail Thursdays on my muffin pic! :) Have a great day!

I got plenty in my old album about Markets...see if I can scan them for you. This is great! We get to see what's going on the other side of the fence and how they do things. Here down under, we do have Sunday Markets. In the country town, they call it Trash and Treasure with everything. This is a cool meme too! Good on You!
