Sharon, These guys were pretty impressive, the big one was . . . big. I was trying to stay out of the way while taking the photos, I did not want to upset them.
Lynn, I was taking the photos from afar, not really all that close most of the time.
Anne, I thought they were so neat, it was lunch time and they were headed to the grain near a tree.
Madame DeFarge, Don't we all,it is a great quote. I love geese too, they are so great to watch.
Charmine, Thanks, you also.
Sunflower Ranch, I thought so too, I watched them for quite awhile. The walk was so cool.
I'm glad I came here, too. I love this one, but I sometimes need to be careful what I say, because the words don't always come out right, and people's feelings can get hurt.
Hey, I have some photos of a week day Farmers' Market up for a SkyWatch a few weeks ago. I took some at the Saturday one to use for another SkyWatch, but the clouds were thick, and not pretty. I forgot to take my camera last week. I hope to tomorrow, but we are going to have our 17 month old grandson with us, so if he rides in the stroller I can get some taken. :o)

Grew up in a small Georgia town with a desire to see some of the places I had read about and many I had not. I moved to Alaska and lived there for about ten years. My jobs took me to many parts of the state including Barrow, Nome, Kodiak Island and many more. I have also lived in California, Oregon and now Washington state.
Let this be the story of the journey so far.

It's only funny when you're not actually being chased by a goose!

I love watching geese. . . from afar. I've been told they can be somewhat fierce. But it is a great, great photo -- makes me smile.
I love your little friends in the picture, great quote.
