Thoughts with a Purpose

If you were all alone in the universe with no one to talk to, no one with which to share the beauty of the stars, to laugh with, to touch, what would be your purpose in life?

It is other life, it is love, which gives your life meaning. This is harmony. We must discover the joy of each other, the joy of challenge, the joy of growth.

I'm always impressed by the words you find. I'm not sure about being comfortable about the joy of challenge, but maybe someday I'll get used to it.

absolutely....so true. Love is truly what matters in life. And finding joy/contentment through all is definitely a blessing--not attainable except through challenge and growth.

I too am impressed by the words you choose to share. It's a great way to start my day. Now off to church. G#2 is meeting her 'summer' friends!

It seems we live for the fellowship, and yes, the approval of others, and to have our lives mirrored by others - in subtler ways, continuing what we did as toddlers, yelling out, "look Mom!" when we finally managed a cartwheel, or got an A.

Yes, I agree with you! And this also means that we have to cherish every moment that we have here on earth. Coz nobosy really really knows what happens next.

:-)

Btw, thanks for the prayers for Luke! His family will be happy to know how many people is extending the prayers and wishes.
