Every Saturday morning, Spring through early Fall, local farmers, craftspeople and food vendors bring their wares to sell. It is probably the same or at least similar to other farmers' markets all over the country but each is going to have it's own special charm.

Beautiful jewelry and crafts from a variety of sellers. I bought the cutest pair of butterfly earrings from Kathy Read of the Dixie Art House. The works above are hers.
Lot's of ceramics, I really liked the little piggy banks.
If anyone is hungry there are a variety of food booths or maybe you want to take something home to enjoy later. The breads smelled so good.
Of course this is a farmers' market so lots of local produce.
Or maybe buy vegetable or flower plants and grow your own garden. By the way Walla Walla is famous for the Walla Walla Sweet onion.

Oh,i loved the market tour and the fresh veggies.Here we have weekly markets very similar to yours...but crowded & messy,may be i should cover that in my future posts.
I love farmers markets, we have one very close to us. I love to go on Saturday morning.

Good idea. I think we should all post pictures from our markets for comparison. I can show you corn, corn, and more corn. Yellow corn, blue corn, green corn, and red corn. Lots of corn.
Our farmer's market just started up and is on Friday's from 3 PM to 6 PM. I've been meaning to go but haven't. Rae, now that you've issued a photo challenge, you've given me incentative to make the effort, i.e., put on makeup, style my hair, etc. :D
One day, me, you and Charmine will have to go adventuring together to a market or craft fair. I'm busy this Saturday though... Sorry:(
