We are all cups, constantly and quietly being filled. The trick is, knowing how to tip ourselves over and let the beautiful stuff out.

In case you are wondering, the creamy yellow cherry is a Rainier. It was created in 1952 by Harold Fogle at Washington State University.
Rainier cherry are considered the cream of the crop and usually sell for more than five dollars a pound in the US and as much as a dollar each in Japan. I have seen them as high as nine dollars a pound this year.
These wonderful cherries are a rare treat and I usually purchase just a very small amount each year. They were on sale yesterday.

They seem interesting, them Rainiers. =) Never tried one, will do whenever I get a chance.
Pretty shot, as always. :)
This photo looks really interesting and beautiful; very creative and attractive!
great quote. love Rainier cherries. My daughter can tie a cherry stem into a knot --in her mouth! no kidding! She developed this special talent on a vacation with lots of driving.
A beautifully composed photo, and I also enjoyed the quote. Thank you for sharing it.
Beautiful post. I love cherries! Especially fresh ones! Stopping by from Harriet's Comment Challenge.

I love the thought, I am having a bad day and it really helped.
Thanks Anne
Never heard of them before, I'll have to keep an eye out and see is anyone around here gets them in.
Beats the 'half full', 'half empty' line anyday.
What a beautiful picture and sentiment.
How lucky were you to find them on sale! My mouth is watering!
