If you have read the story below about my local farmers' market and the comments you will see that Rae from Weather Vane has issued a challenge to everyone.
Most communities have a weekly market of some sort and we would like to see photos of what each market is like. Since we have bloggers here from around the world this could be a lot of fun.
There is no rush, but hopefully in the next few weeks. In fact if everyone could have your photos ready by June 27th, we could all do it together and have a bloggers' market.
Take photos and post them on your blog along with a little description if you like. Leave me a comment to let me know you have posted your photos and I will do a little post here to let everyone know to go over to your blog and take a look.
See, a really easy and fun challenge. Hope everyone will give it a try.
Thanks

I accept the challenge! Unfortunately our farmer's market doesn't always get going until July....but I'll give it a shot!! There are bigger ones nearer to Boston, ours has about 6 stalls, but I can walk to it :) -kate
Hmmm... This sounds fun! I'll get to showcase my little corner of Hootersville! Xenia is charming, but our market is a few canopies in the parking lot of the old train depot. The depot is now the bike depot, as all the area trails converge there. We are the 'Bicycle Capitol of the MidWest'... so the say. I'll take my camera.
Our farmer's market just started up a few months ago. I've been meaning to go; however, after seeing this challenge by Weather Vane, I am going this afternoon with camera in hand. lol
Hi bestest bloggin buddy ever!
This is a great idea... I'll have to check out our Hampton market and see if its up n going yet. I'd love to show it off ;)

OOOOOOO, sounds like fun!
Ours is just getting started. They've been selling plants and farm fresh eggs (really, they just came out of the barn), but the official opening is supposed to be in the next couple of weeks.
Great idea. I might give it a try.
I think waiting until July is a great idea, we're lucky if we get 6 vendors, but the honey guy is always there, I love knowing my honey comes from down the street! I'll get my camera ready! -kate
Ours is just getting started, too. But I've got my earth friendly recycled shopping bags, and my trusty camera. Yeppers... I'm in... ;-)
By the way, do you mind if I snatch the logo to advertise on my blog?
That sounds like fun, I love Farmers Markets.

I'll have pictures tomorrow! No more whining about it being too hot to leave the house. lol
I will join in for the July Farmer's Market challenge. Drippin' has its second run at a market on July 4.
