If you click on this link Camp Ukpiksuu you can access a full screen view of this photo.In the next week or two we will be traveling above the Arctic Circle to Barrow, Alaska. From there we will fly about twenty miles south to the banks of the Ukpiksuu River.

I personally prefer to be somewhere that I can relax outside without, you know, FROSTBITE.

Get your backpack ready, the tour will be leaving in about a week. I am planning some pre trip writing about the area before the real story begins. BTW, this photo was made in July.
