Wow ... going to Alaska? Nice. If you don't mind me asking, is there any particular reason you're going there? Enjoy your trip and I can't wait to see more pictures :)
Ditto on the pictures.
I personally prefer to be somewhere that I can relax outside without, you know, FROSTBITE.
I'm looking forward to the virtual tour! It's probably very nice weather now, isn't it? Tell us some stats... How long are the days? What are the high and low temps?
I have a present for you on my blog!! Check it out!
Enjoy the trip. I'm envious of you being able to go up to the Arctic Circle again. Looking forward to the photos too.
Hi Jan,
Maybe I should have worded this a little differently. "We" is you and I and all my followers, this is a group virtual tour. I was in Barrow in the eighties and this is a little flashback.
Steven,
I did manage to get a touch of frostbite on this trip. My usual destination these days is the Baja.
MzzLily,
Get your backpack ready, the tour will be leaving in about a week. I am planning some pre trip writing about the area before the real story begins. BTW, this photo was made in July.
eMusings,
I will be over shortly.
Madame DeFarge,
But you are going also, get a bag packed. This is going to be so much fun. Be sure to pack warm clothes.

Thanks My sister used to live in Alaska but that was a long time ago in 70s haha
To answer your question on my blog...
Its called staying up till 2am getting the work done! Thank goodness my girls dont wake up till 8 ;)
Do tell....what is the fascination with Alaska? I'm loving the blast from my past that I get when I see your pictures.
myra,
Your welcome. The seventies are before my time in Alaska, from what I've heard things were a little wild in AK about that time.
TwoPrettyLittleSkirts,
The Alaska photos are from my ten years up there traveling all over the state. Folks seem to like them.
