- Grew up in a small Georgia town with a desire to see some of the places I had read about and many I had not. I moved to Alaska and lived there for about ten years. My jobs took me to many parts of the state including Barrow, Nome, Kodiak Island and many more. I have also lived in California, Oregon and now Washington state. Let this be the story of the journey so far.

We have had such dark nasty weather lately. Snow last Sunday, high wind warning yesterday, and snow mixed with rain today. The photo is from last summer and right now it's just wishful thinking.
